NewCrop ePrescribe roles are defined as follows:
- Doctor - This role is for a user who is fully licensed to prescribe; ie a Doctor, Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner.
- Midlevel Prescriber - This role is applicable where state law requires the prescriber to be supervised; ie a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner.
- Nurse - This role can prescribe medications and send to the pharmacy on behalf of a prescriber as well as perform administrative tasks.
- Admin - This role can perform administrative tasks and pend prescriptions for a prescriber to send at a later time.
