Questions and Answers from the webinar held on March 10, 2022:
Q: If we create an auth in this new section for say, Medicaid for all OLP services, we would not need to create these auths for every Medicaid client at the patient detail level that receives those services?
A: Correct
Q: Is there any extra setup that needs to happen on our end in order to use patient statements through Ability because I don't see the Patient Statement tab when I log into Ability.
A: Yes, the patient statement service from Ability is a separate service from their standard offering. We would coordinate with you and Ability to get you enrolled and up and running.
Q: Send patient statements through Ability, is that considered an eCR add-on module? If not, what is the cost per bill or billing?
A: It is considered an eCR add-on. As far as pricing goes, you can reach out to Pamela Franco for more information at pamela.franco@therapybrands.com.
Q: With the bulk edits, for audit tracking purposes, how are the edits connected to the original document that was locked in the system and connected to the charge?
A: The bulk edits from the Claims Management screen will audit the same that eCR would if you went to Charge Entry and changed a charge one at a time.
Q: For the code that is calculated, is it only looking for the MDM and the therapy being checked off?
A: No, there are other factors throughout the form that contribute to the resulting procedure. The rules are outlined in the grid that is on the first tab of the note. In some versions of the note, the rules are on the last tab.
Q: So the only update was the procedure mapping for billing?
A: Yes
Q: For the "notes" section, will a hyperlink be activated or will they need to copy the link and paste it into their own browser for use?
A: The link will be an active clickable link.
Q: Attaching the credit card to the appointment, is this going to be completed by the end-user, including the amount to be billed?
A: The credit card function might have been a little undersold. It is really the ability to take credit card payments within eCR, like a merchant services ability.
Q: Regarding credit card payments, how do we "withdraw" the money out of eCR when a client makes a payment to transfer to our finance department?
A: We partner with a 3rd party company to handle credit card processing. The money will be delivered to you within a couple of days from them.
Q: On the last page of the PCS there is a question that counts the number of times seen, was that info able to be pulled into the form?
A: Yes, questions like that one and also the specific dates the client was seen, will be auto-filled. That being said, you will want to wait until the PCS week is over to fill out the form to take advantage of that benefit.
Q: Does the patient portal send an alert when a client submits a form or sends a message?
A: Not yet but is on the Road Map. No ETA at this time.
Q: I think I heard you say that the credit cards are stored? Are there also bank accounts that can be kept to avoid credit card fees? And then have you created financial agreement auto billings??
A: We do not have bank account EFT functionality, just the credit card integration.
Q: Patient Portal is still an add-on correct?
A: Correct
Q: Anything on the email functionality that's on eCR?
A: That story is in our backlog and we are working towards getting it done. No timeline yet.
Q: Can you explain the role of UserVoice? Does that replace the Help desk?
A: UserVoice does not replace the Helpdesk. UserVoice is a place for you, as our customer, to offer suggestions for new functionality. Within UserVoice, you can also see what other customers have suggested and vote for them if it is also something that you would like to see. Critical issues, possible bugs or general questions are still being sent to the Helpdesk.
