Quickly access a list of common prescriptions using the Favorites List. This can really save you time!
Before you Begin: Add frequently prescribed medications to your Favorites List.
- Click on the Favorites button from the Compose Rx tab. The Favorites List opens.
Note: Select Insulin from the drop-down menu for a list of common insulin drugs and supplies.
- Click the Checkbox next to the favorite prescription.
NOTE: You can prescribe more than one favorite prescription at the same time. Use the checkboxes to select all the prescriptions you need to prescribe.
- Click the Prescribe button.
NOTE: Clicking the blue sig instructions will add the medication to the patient's Pending Rx list.
- Review the prescription and click Transmit.
NOTE: The Favorite must have complete Sig Instructions and Dispense Information in order to transmit to the pharmacy.
