Now that the Topaz Signature Pad has been successfully captured on the local machine you can now capture your signature within the eCR application.
- The first step to capturing your signature inside eCR is ensuring the computer’s local ports are made available within eCR via the RDP Connection settings. Once this is completed login to eCR.
- Login to eCR and select the “My Preferences” option from the “Current User” section in the desktop menu on the bottom left of eCR.
- Use the Signature Pad to Capture Your Signature in eCR.
- On the My Preferences menu select “External Signature Pad” under the “Stored Type” then select the “Edit Stored” option to capture the signature.
- If there was a previously captured signature, clear it out by clicking the “Clear” button.
- Accept the blank signature (You will receive an error saying “Enter a Signature”).
- Close the window.
- Click Save and then select the “Edit Stored” button again.
- Once the signature box appears use the Topaz Signature Pad to capture the signature and select “Accept”.
- After accepting the captured signature, you will then select “Stored” under “My Signature Use Type”.
- Lastly, click Save on the My Preferences screen to save the signature for future use.
