In order to be able to bill for an ICD 10 code, it needs to be added to each insurance you will be billing.
- Go to Administration > Insurances.
- Search for an existing insurance or create a new insurance.
- Once you select the desired insurance, go to the Insurance Info tab.
- In the ICD-10 Effective Date field, enter the date on which ICD-10 codes should be sent to the payer on a bill for any DOS on or after this date.
- This date should always be 10/1/2015 or later.
- Click Save.
